Palisade Fences And Gates

The recent increase in crime and vandalism has dictated the need for a secure perimeter fencing system.

Paramount Steel Palisade provides a high level of protection at a reasonable cost and is increasingly seen by Owner and Insurance company alike as a high quality cost effective solution.

Construction

A standard  panel is constructed from hot and cold rolled steel sections supplied for assembly on site. Panels  consist of 17 vertical pales manufactured in "D" or "W" profile with a choice of tops. The pales are fixed to rolled steel angle horizontals which are supported by 102 x 44 joist posts.

A fish plate passes through a slot in the post and secures  the horizontal rail captive in its position. The pales are connected to the horizontals to form the  panel and are held securely together by utilising  vandal resistant security fasteners.

 

Fencing is supplied in 2.75m wide standard panels for easy assembly on site.

Special panels and posts to step or rake can be supplied if required.

Non standard posts for cranking over walls, or base plated for fixing to concrete are also available.

Our Design Office are pleased to assist clients with specific fencing problems or difficult site conditions and will offer solutions utilising  CAD based facilities available to them.

Pale Heads

From the fierce Triple pointed top to the Round head, each top complements a particular requirement to meet a perceived level of security risk.

A choice of "D" or "W" section is offered with a variety of heads and thicknesses chosen by the risk assessment for a particular site.

Swing Gates

Paramount palisade gates are available to compliment the chosen fencing system and can be manufactured to any width specified. The design has been carefully detailed to provide a deterrent to climbing and forcible attack to a similar level as the fencing system.

There are also a wide range of widths and heights available for immediate despatch from our stock range.

Designed for strength and durability Paramount Gates can also be  supplied in the following formats.

Single leaf emergency exit gates.

Single Leaf swing gates up to 7.00m opening.

Double Leaf swing gates up to 14.00m opening.

Contiguous gates with double and single leaves hinged from a common post.

Long System Life

Paramount fencing systems are built to last and a minimum maintenance requirement is inherent in all our product designs.

Fencing is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461  ensuring complete protection with a long life span.

The visual aspect of the fencing can be further enhanced by the specification of architectural grade Polyester Powder coating applied to meet the requirements of British Standard 1722 part 16 or, when specified, British Standard 6497.
 

With a  choice of over 100 RAL and British Standard colours  to choose from a pleasing appearance with additional protection is ensured.

Safety

We do not recommend the use of pointed paling sections at heights less than 1.80m due to safety considerations. In these cases we can offer a round top alternative.
